Friday July 21, 2006
This was a fellowship meeting which turned out to be a most
revealing tribute to PP Jim Batterton who is leaving St. Lucia.
PP Anthony Austin, President Greg, PP Leathon and Rtn. Charlie
gave humorous but touching tributes to PP Jim indicating how
much of a true friend he is who loved to fellowship. PP Jim was
toasted and wished well; his replacement Chester Hinkson was
also in attendance having recently returned from his last
posting in Haiti.

Directors Andre, Terry and Azmina gave their reports. The

good job as acting Sarge.

Friday September 30th
A rather disappointing turn-out of only 52% - we had
6 guests
including Earnest Hilaire the CEO of Cricket World Cup 2007.
He gave a very good update on the progress of preparations
Cricket. He explained clearly what the real benefits could be
for Saint Lucia, but also noted the necessity to delivery the
expected product to the expected standard - questions had to be
limited. A pity more Rotarians were not present.
Friday September 23rd
Jeania Allain gave a very informative talk on her
profession and which clarified a number of misconceptions. There
were a number of amusing comments about phantom limbs. Pedro won
the raffle which was one of the trips to the prostate clinic in

would really rather not know if anything is wrong.
